▶What date should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by the 1st May.

▶What is the easiest way to get to and from your venue?

The easiest way to reach the venue is by car. We recommend taxis to be pre-booked to take you back to your accommodation at the end of the evening (latest 12am on Friday and 1am on Saturday).

▶Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Weather permitting, we hope to be outside enjoying the beautiful gardens for much of the weekend, including the ceremony, cocktail hour and for most of the Sunday activities. The wedding reception and welcome drinks on Friday however will both be held indoors.

▶What time is the ceremony?

The ceremony is planned to take place at 2pm, so please arrive around 1:30pm in order to find your seats.

▶What time does the reception end?

We expect music to finish at 1am.

▶What is the dress code for your wedding?
  • Welcome drinks on Friday — Smart casual
  • The wedding on Saturday — Think elevated garden party - we encourage you to dress up, but also to be comfortable enough for an outdoor setting on grass!
  • Garden party on Sunday — Colourful, casual attire - something you don't mind crafting or playing outdoor games in, and maybe getting a little messy!
▶Are children welcome at the wedding?

Yes, we would love to have your children join in over the weekend! On Saturday 27th we will be hiring a childminder for under 5s and providing some activities for the little ones.

▶Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

All of our food will be vegetarian or vegan friendly, and will not include any nuts. Please let us know any specific allergies on the RSVP form, or in person.

▶What can we bring you as a gift?

We kindly ask for no gifts, as your attendance over the weekend is a gift enough! If you do wish to give something, then we would gratefully accept a donation towards our honeymoon.

▶Is there parking available at the venue?

Yes, there is parking available at Chaucer Barn. It's also fine to leave your car overnight at the venue!

▶What are the plans for Sunday 28th?

As we have full use of the venue up until Monday 29th, we plan to carry on the celebrations and make use of the beautiful grounds with a garden party! Expect some games, crafting, music and street food starting at around midday. There will also be plenty of space to chill and just enjoy the house and gardens too. We'd love for you to join us, and will send out updates with more detailed plans for the day nearer to the time.
